Welcome to DaveMaerz.com! Let's start off by saying this is a site focusing on blues and classic rock guitar with an emphasis on lead or solo guitar playing. What’s going to make this site different are a couple of things.

First, the online lesson library is "structured." What does that mean? It means that we have come up with a program that will guide you through the necessary ingredients to create your own great guitar solos. Licks are great and learning them is definitely an important part of playing, but where do they come from and how do you create your own? With this lesson program we go step by step giving you the tools you need to do just that: create your own solos. We will show you what to look for and listen to and, in the age of information overload, keep you focused on what’s important. Our main goal is to provide you with solid useful information that goes beyond licks, giving you a reference guide to focus on fundamentals.

Second, are the submissions from you. Unlike a static lesson library, we want interaction between instructor, subscriber and also among the subscribers. Video submissions will be followed up by instructor responses. These Master Classes will give you a critique of your playing and address any points in particular you would like to focus on. If you don’t feel comfortable submitting a video, we will also respond to plain text messages in the same fashion. We're here to help and guide all subscribers.

Third, we will also provide our own custom backing tracks that are a lot of fun to jam with. These tracks will cover styles from B.B. King to Led Zeppelin.

Finally, this will be an expanding library and with your help we're just getting started. So, there it is, for less than the price of one guitar lesson, a month’s access to it all 24/7.
